the New York Tabletop Market previews the most prestigious
designers’ and manufacturers’ patterns for spring. The
five-day display of dishes, barware, silverware, serveware, and
decor in all shapes, materials and styles is almost too dizzying to
digest—unless you are a style insider like Christina Norsig.

sent Norsig, our savvy scout and CEO/founder of <a

prettiest patterns and the freshest trends—and she did not
disappoint. “This year’s show was really
inspiring,” says Norsig, “it had a definite point of
view for up and coming design directions.” Here’s what
she found.

<img

• Fuchsia
Dominates
This season’s
“it” color was clearly a bold fuchsia with hints of
pinkish red. The color application on the Osaka pattern is like a
bleeding block print or a raspberry stain. The smeared edges give
this plate a total freshness and make a bold breakaway from
tradition.

Osaka accent plates with Macao dinner
