A new way of looking at mirrors

Although reflective surfaces have been getting a lot of play lately—see the flood of mirrored side tables and vanities at retailers from trend-a-minute Urban Outfitters to the slower-moving Horchow—Jean-Marie Massaud's Fiction mirrors for Glas Italia knock the (mirror) ball out of the park. Apartment Therapy (and Notcot, and Yatzer) just blogged the partially-silvered, fade-to-clear pieces, and they're spreading across the blog world like wildfire. I only wonder if they could possibly look as cool on any normal wall as they do on rough, pitted concrete? (Also, where to buy them? Anyone?)

    I'm told that www.macandmacinteriors.co.uk will be stocking Glas Italia products from Feb '09
