A Rant about Fraudulant company practices
I went to a website that was recommended by someone to get
a free credit report with a credit score. The website was
creditreportamerica.com They have a 7 day free trial and it
costs $1.00 to get your credit report, which is then supposed to be
refunded to you. It isn't and then they charge your credit card
for a monthly subscription before the 7 day free trial is over. In
thier terms and conditions it says that all past month charges are
non-refundable, so all you can do is cancel, you can't get a
refund from these people. They also automatically sign you up for
fraud protection and identity theft protection without telling you
that you have to call a different phone number to cancel each one
of them. So, needless to say, my free credit report ended up
costing me about $50.00 that I can't get back from these
people! I was so aggrivated by the time that I got through
calling all of the phone numbers that it wasn't even funny!!! I
tried to report them to the BBB online, but since I didn't have
a physical address for the company, I couldn't finish the
complaint. On top of all that, I still have to send off for my
credit report through the mail! I couldn't even get my credit
score because they wanted to charge me an extra $8.00 to get that.
I was soo mad. So, when you try to get your credit report, be
careful which website you use because some of them are just
glorified scams cooked up by a corporation to take your hard earned
money away from you without giving you the product in return.

THEY ARE RIP OFF ARTISTS AND THEY NEED TO REFUND THE MONEY THEY
SCAMMED FROM PEOPLE WITHOUT GIVING THEM THIER CREDIT
REPORT!!!!
