?-american

here we are. this is a great day to be an american. now can we drop the hyphin. can we just be americans? he ran on change well lets start. we are americans. you want unity then unite. i know that it is not that simple. but i have lived in places that were mostly black and i am white. we all got along. i worked with a diverse group of people and we got along. i have to say that if you want change then change it. quit standing there and say that you are this american or that american. just say that you are an american. always have a hand reaching for the stars and other reaching back to help bring others with you. lets keep this going. we can not just sit and think that obama can do it by himself. we have to be the force to unite.

This country is not united and it never will be. Stop being so naive. There are only TWO types of people in this country...RICH and NOT RICH. This country was founded on the idea that you step on your neighbor to get ahead, and whoever ends up with the most toys wins - PERIOD. It's the DIVIDED STATES of AMERICA. Stop dreaming that the people of this country are going to unite with one another and live in harmony - NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. There is NO opportunity left in this country, it's all about who you know and who you blow. Obama won because people, with their limited brain capacity, think he's gonna be able to make changes and save the world...he doesn't care about you...he only cares about himself and his family, because that's what America is all about - looking out for #1, and he did just that. From here on out he'll receive $400,000 a year until his death, he has health insurance, and his kids will be able to go to college...he and his family are now set for life, while 95% of the population is screwed.

we need to stop being mad that someone has better than you. get up and better yourself and not wait for some to do it for you. it realy doesnt matter who won last night it is how we move on. i am not pro anybody. we are who we are because of what we do and say. i was taught that you make your own but with that comes helping others to. i live a simple life. i dont care what others have that i dont. i am happy for you if you have what you believe is what you want. one smile leads to two. the same goes for change. it starts in your home then your street then your town. this world will never fair to all. but it is up to us to make it better. if you dont try then dont cry.

Many black people don't even want to be referred to as African American, just Black if it must be mentioned at all. Obama has set a precident, but it is true that change has to happen because we make it happen.

By the way, thanks for commenting on my blog. I've been teaching my daughter ABC's and singing the song since she was still in my womb, and she still acts like she doesn't recognize them, even though she comes home from Daycare learning new words in a day. I just want her to have every advantage, and I don't mind paying for something if it really works.

    Take care :-)
