  Uhg, I can't stand this chick. What makes her so "powerful" anyway? I admire her desicion to adopt, but beyond that I don't see the attraction. She is okay looking, plays mediocre roles in movies, doesn't seem like the nicest person there ever was, but yet she tops the list of the most powerful celebs. Whatever. Her life is not that interesting that she needs to be on every cover of US Weekly or Star either. I'm just waitting for the love of Brangelina trend to be over...

  What a joke! Of course, creepy demons can be powerful - there is Satan, after all. Wonder how he's taking the news that his spawn has succeeded him?

  I am actually mad at this.. like seriously Oprah has done way more than baby un stable trotten momma Angie has for anyone her in US.. so why is she powerful? What kind of message is this sending to girls today??

  Personally I don't care... I didn't care when Oprah was "powerful" or anyone else for that matter... They don't effect my life... I don't watch them, follow them around or really care what they do... I will watch Angelina's movies if it looks like a story I am interested in... and Oprah I pretty much stay away from like the plague... The brainwashing capacity that celebrities have is atrocious...

  To the people that are complaining that it is Angie, I am glad it was Angie and not Oprah because Oprah is rich yet she does not use her money for good causes, she just saves it and spends it on her ridiculous diets that turn out to be a failure. Angelina has donated over 50% of her riches to charity. The pictures of her kids went to charity, she is ambassador for UN, she has brought attention to many issues that would've other wise gone unnoticed, and need I remind you she has adopted 3 children which means it is a life time commitment. Oprah on the other hand ... made a school in africa for a million dollars which would less than 0.01% of her fortune. Angelina must be on the 100s right now, yet she has donated more 50millions.... And besides, she is appealing to the eyes.

  She is probably considered the most powerful because aside from adopting children out of country, she is also a UN amdassador and is working towards better life conditions for people, women and children especially in war torn countries. She also donates a substantial amount of her income to these causes, most of which she gets no face time for. I don't get why people drool over celebrities but I would rather admire them for things like this than because they were photographed being stupid.

  Oprah seems to donate money every time Tax day comes around... Donation takes % from your taxes. Angelina on the other hand does not even live in the U.S. for the most part and is constantly donating, even when she doesn't have to. "What example is this giving to "girls" today?". Well we had Mother Teresa, and Princess Diana a while ago as icons for humanitarian work and nobody seemed to follow their footsteps. In the 70s, we barely had "examples", and much was done to benefit the entire human race. The examples that we had were LSD, The Beatles and Marijuana. And we ended segregation, and women got more rights. People should follow Angie's footsteps because of her humanitarian work and not her personal life. After all, what did she do wrong? Brad and Aniston's relationship had no salvation ... I mean, have you seen Her?
