Balancing Act

user

Working moms have many hats they wear, stay at home moms do to. Where is my hat rack once in a while? Some days I am "mommy" & some days I don't want to be for just a few minutes. Some days I am an employee & some days I don't want to be. I am not saying I regret having children or a job but what I am saying is it would be nice to have a few minutes to myself.

Being a working mom, wishing I was a stay-at-home mom, means regrets. I have been both a working mom (part-time & full-time) a stay-at-home mom & everything in between but I really enjoyed staying home with my children when I could. Financially & benefits wise I am not privledged to give up my job so I try to have some balance. Ha, Ha, what's that?

Balance to me would be:

1. A job (if needed) that I could work from home doing something I Love.

2. Homeschooling my wonderful boys & helping reach their potential in life.

3. Having time for volunteer work, hobbies & recreation that would bring the family together, help us grow, teach us to be community minded.

4. Have some "me" time to reflect on goals, dreams & rest.

Is this too much to ask for? I need to make this happen, find a way, discover the "secret" & find my balance!
