Cat On Carpet Abuse
user

I have a cat who I love very much but she has litter box issues. I
brought her in when she was two years old and for the next eight
years she had the opportunity to go outside where she did her
business. But I've recently moved to a neighborhood where
coyotes have been known to roam and I haven't felt
comfortable letting her out. Unfortunately, she's now
peeing on my carpet rather than in her box. How can I get rid of
the smell? If I catch her in the act I can clean it up but I go to
school every day and I can't watch her 24/7...

see, i recently got rid of mine for doing the same thing, it may be a multiple cat issue i had 2 that shared 1 box and you may need to clean it more often
(check out my OMG, did i do the right thing blog) it addresses your issues.
