Skydiving
If you're looking for the thrill of skydiving without having to get into a plane, one of the best ways is through Vegas Indoor Skydiving. For $75, you can get a single jump, and for $40 more, you can relive the experience by going a second time. After about a 20-minute training, you are placed in a wind tunnel that stimulates the exact feeling of skydiving--without the risk of falling to your death.
X Scream
If you are looking for a serious roller coaster, look no farther than X Scream at the Stratosphere. X Scream is the third-tallest roller coaster in the world, at a stomach-turning 866 feet. To make the experience even more extreme, X Scream is an open coaster, meaning your feet will dangle nearly 30 feet over the edge of the tower. A ride costs about $6 for hotel guests and $10 for visitors. If you really feel daring, you can purchase the unlimited pass for $20 more.
Get Married
If you're looking for the ultimate crazy experience, you must get married. Whether you want to have a Star Trek wedding or get married by Elvis, Vegas is the place for your wedding dreams to come true. You can even get married through a drive-through window--how convenient.
Pet a Shark
The Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino is home to the third-largest aquarium tank in the world, featuring some of the most exotic species of shark in captivity. In fact, the resort is home to the only hammerhead shark in captivity in the U.S. You can wander through the two underwater tunnels to where you are within feet of some of the world's most dangerous sharks. You might even get the opportunity to pet a bamboo shark.
Buffet Binge
Dieters, beware of this crazy thing to do in Las Vegas. One of the most widely known facts about Vegas is its never-ending supply of buffets. Whether you want lobster, steak, sushi or shrimp, you can find it all in at least one of the buffets on and off the Vegas Strip. You can easily find buffets starting at about $7, but if you want the real deal, try the Bellagio's gourmet buffet, which is about $30. Be sure to save room for dessert!
Extreme Racing
Maybe you're craving the feeling of wind in your hair as you take hairpin turns at speeds of as much as 45 mph. That might not seem like much, but this is the Pole Position Racing Track, and these are souped-up go-karts. Started in 2007 by NASCAR Champion Kurt Busch, this track offers a serious taste of speed for racing junkies. A single race costs about $50, or you can go for the all-day pass for $125.
