Create A Quick And Easy Autumn Wreath

A quick and easy way to give your home the festive feeling of fall is to create a wreath out of colorful leaves.  With a few supplies from your favorite craft store, and some pretty leaves from your front yard, you can have a beautiful new wreath.

1. At the craft store, purchase a 12 inch Styrofoam ring or one made out of woven sticks (more expensive).  If you don't have one, pick up a hot glue gun and some glue sticks.

2. Go out to your yard (or a local park if you live in a condo) to hunt for beautiful fall leaves.  If you have kids, get them involved!  Choose at least 100 leaves, but bring as many as you want just in case some break.

3. To assemble the wreath, use your hot glue gun to attach the leaves to the Styrofoam ring.  Cover the back too so the white foam doesn't show from any angle.

4. Feel free to accessorize with ribbon, pine cones, or twigs
5. You can buy a wreath hanger at any discount store or just hammer a nail into your door.

6. Hang your wreath!

Your new colorful wreath is a beautiful way to welcome guests to your home.

This sounds easy and looks beautiful! I love the idea of using leaves from my front yard as they'll be all natural and won't cost a thing. Thanks for the idea, Jessica :)
