Faux cobwebs may be appropriate only one month a year, but there’s no reason that spine-chilling design should be reserved just for the Halloween season. With chicness remaining our number one criteria, we’ve found decor that also spans the spooky spectrum, from creepy-crawly lamps to tarantula teacups. So if you’re interested in design’s darker side, check out 13 freaky finds that keep the Halloween spirit alive the whole year through.
Teddy Bear Terror
(Above) This is the stuff that nightmare’s are made of. Designer Matthew Kinealy has replaced the head of the classic children’s companion with a light bulb and shade, creating a table lamp far creepier than just being in the dark.

Eight-Arm Lamp
At first glance, this multi-armed candelabra may seem like any other table display, but look more closely, and you’ll see that its “arms” are modeled after those of an octopus. Despite its utter eeriness, we find this serpentine piece pretty chic.

Human FurnitureApparently Dzmitry Samal takes the term “table legs” quite literally. We can’t quite decide if these designs are inspired or just plain wacky; either way, they’re a bit disturbing.
