Cubicle Coach: Should I take a better title or better pay?
user
Dear CC: My job search has yielded two
offers-one with a great title that, on the face of it, puts me in a
different league, and another with "associate" attached that pays
20 percent more. Responsibilities are similar. Which do I
take?
CC's people have an old saying: Nem di gelt. Take
the money. The responsibilities are the key here, because on your
next resume and interview, you'll be stressing the duties you're
performing, not the title. Most bosses know titles are "fluid" -- aka
BS -- and what you do and what you're paid will demonstrate your
higher level.

I am from South Africa but happen to have a canadian e mail address. i have read most of the topics and would like to say that the best thing a lady can do for herself is buy a book by Suze Orman called The Courage to be Rich. This will be advantageous to up and coming career-orientated omen and empowering besides.
