I am doing at debate..state the obvious lol..anyways as
mentioned the notion is: Our increasing loss of privacy is a
worthwhile sacrifice.
The problem is that i have been selected to argue for and to be
frank i can't really think of many reasons for but much against
so i am dredding this debate.
I have a rough idea on how to introduce my speech i am going to
talk about theists and how they shouldn't have a problem with
their loss of scarifice for nothing they do is hidden from the
Almighty. Thus they shouldn't/ and most likely wouldn't do
anything wrong so they shouldn't really have a problem with the
state seeing what they do.
I also have a few points for; although they are not up to
scratch.
I was hoping if anyone could suggest any reasons why our increasing
loss of privacy is a worthwhile scarifice.
Thank you in advance

Report Abuseyou can use some debate strategy, maybe not helpful very much, but still can make you speech sound more powerful. like, though everybody admits that lossing privacy is a worthwhile sacrifice, then sacrifice at what price, each people has his own standard to estimate his lossing, however, while you weighing too much on the lossing side, what are you about to gain. some precious moment with your family are under protection, and one real example, i just saw a page on the web saying that a yale grad disappearred in the campus, and who happened to be a girl engaged in a marriage. what a tremendous mental disaster this can be to her fiance, you can quote this in your delivery, and the story you can find at this site: http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090913/ap_on_re_us/us_missing_yale_student
hope those above tangled stuff can pull strings. they are all what i get so far.
