My colleague, Kevin Salwen, is answering questions about small business as part of a contest being sponsored by Yahoo! Answers and Bank of America. He’s asked me to have my readers send him some juicy ones, so if you have a small-business question (and you’re not a relative of mine or someone else with a connection to Yahoo! or Bank of America), get over there and ask a question (or a few) by this Wednesday, June 24. Salwen is a small-business expert and former Wall Street Journal columnist and editor, and he is going to be looking at questions four times in the coming months. For this first period, the topic is “Growing Your Business in Good Times or Bad.”
The contest has two parts that repeat each period. In each case, Salwen will select 25 questions which he will answer on Yahoo! Answers. He will then choose one winner out of the 25, who will receive a $20,000 credit for Yahoo! Search Marketing as well as a free business-counseling session with Salwen.
I’m paying close attention to the kinds of questions Salwen gets, since Yahoo! has asked me to co-host one of these contests in a few months.
