Fall Style: Decorating with Poe's Raven

Since childhood, I've made it a tradition to read "The Raven" by Edgar Allen Poe every October. It puts me in a spooky, Halloween mood, and always gives me a case of the shivers. Besides serving as the topic of Poe's famous narrative poem, ravens are also a huge influence in the world of design. Check out my favorite ways to help your home look ravishing with ravens this month!

Fall Style: Decorating With Poe's Raven

My Only Friend ($30) is a print by French artist Anne-Julie Aubry, and recalls the same supernatural feel as Poe's poem. Perhaps this girl is named Lenore?

Love the note cards, the glasses, the pillow and the free standing sculpture(pottery barn)...not a fan of halloween but love Edgar Allen Poe. I love the look of these because they are so clean, defined lines. Thanks for posting this.
