When I first checked out Freecycle, I thought it was pretty cool. You sign up and you see a list of items people are giving away or that they need, and you can post your own items or needs. Lately, I've noticed a lot more "wanted" posts than "offers". The first two things on today's digest were "Wanted: 32 inch tv or larger" and "Wanted: nintendo ds". Well dang! Why didn't *I* think of that! HEY! I WANT a thousand dollars, does anyone feel like giving that away today? Come on! I guess it doesn't hurt to ask, but I would feel like an a---- posting my desires on the internet and expecting there to be people waiting around for someone to ask before they give it to them.
Freecycle...is this what it was meant for?
