The Michael Scott Paper Co., it turns out.
The dead-on cheese-ball tosses in the opening of last night's "Heavy Competition" episode (one of the best this year by far) was funny stuff. The best part? The three of them actually look like they're having fun at work. The rest of the episode was pretty intense, as Michael and Dwight face off to steal/keep customers. Yet, the best workplace sitcom scenario of the week goes to "30 Rock." What working woman hasn't fantasized about what it would be like to live the leisured life of ladies who lunch/drink/spin/spa instead of trudge to an office, day in, day out? Tina Fey's Liz Lemon goes through work withdrawal at first, then buys herself a longer mandatory leave with a sexually harassing comment.. Fey's take that the women, in search of some true stimulation for their big brains, are actually a fight club is perfect.
Have you ever envisioned what it would be like to have your days filled with no work obligations and no worries about paychecks and bills? How far would you go for a break from work?
