This is a great country. The one thing we Americans have always been grateful for is our freedom. Freedom does come with a price. You have to fight for it day in and out. Little freedoms, like the right to just sit and observe nature and life. To get a drink of water or use the restroom with out having to be a 'paying customer'. To be able to choose what lifestyle you want to persue. To not have others trying to tell you what 'they' think is best for all. "They" need to stop and think how 'they' are living on a slowly sinking barge on a river in Egypt. I see how a 'thing' has become all so consuming no one can even think about anything els. The persuit of happiness has become the persuit of the all worthless currency. Our nation is in a crisis right now. People terrified of the economy collasping and ending the world as they know it. Now our dully elected officials have decided they can fix the problem by how the problem became to be. Spending money that they do not have. This is called credit. I will be the first to admit that I did my fair share of the problem, but I also learned from the mistake and have yet even bought anything on credit in a decade. I basically save my money to purchase what I want with cash. I came to find that you don't need half the stuff you want. HMMMM, what a concept. What about the purchase of a home, Lisa, you ask. Well, call me a crazy feakin' half breed, but why do we have buy a place to live. Why couldn't someone just pick someplace and like live on the land they chose? Oh yeah, that is not the anglo way. The anglo way is to say we are white everything belongs to us, if you don't like it we will kill you. Nothing can be a gift to mankind, not even our health. Pretty soon, we won't be able to go to a doctor if we want. You will have to get permission from a non-medical advisor. I am wondering if that will work like those neighborhood facists groups. If ya ain't in the click ya ain't getting in. Thanks for those wonderful little perks that comes from living in a super power run by power crazy anglos and those who want to be anglo so bad they pretend they are. Well anyway, the one thing I can be greatful for is that anglos don't like manual labor so I always have some kind of income to pay for the small little things that make me happy. Food, shelter, clothing, and fuel for my car that has no payment attached. Many would say that I am a pauper, I say I live like a princess. Hey I am not in jail, yet. Wait till the big question comes about health coverage...well at least I do know a few remedies passed down that will prevent and heal common ailments....not those annoying little illnesses that seem to be tied to anglo genetics.
Well sorry about the rambling, but I think alot of my fellow cyber peeps will get where this thought is headed.
Peace Out and Happy Turkey Day....
Oh yeah, DON'T FORGET TO GET OUT THERE AND SPEND LIKE YOU HAVE NEVER SPENT BEFORE ON BLACK FRIDAY!!!!!! WE NEED THAT GAS PRICE TO DROP AT LEAST ANOTHER FIFTY CENTS... OH WAIT I HAVE THAT BACKWARDS, STAY IN AND SAVE....THOSE RETAILERS WILL GET THE POINT ACCROSS.

Report Abusewhy do people wait till holidays to be nice. you should be nice and thankful everyday. do not wait till thanksgiving to be feeding homeless people. do it all year. holidays are great, but this world put too much materialistic values on it. you have to buy this car or this new hot toy every year. that is not smart, holiday should be about families and not about what i am getting for christmas.

Report AbuseDear Lisa G.,
You sound like a very friendly, outgoing, positive person. I would not say that you are a pauper. You have a good mind and a good heart. Thank you for this post about giving thanks. I love Thanksgiving Day and its season; but it is not enough for me. I give thanks every day.
Bye now.
