I give Kudos because Zombie could have had me if the movie was not a Halloween movie and he had this bizarre dangerously intense guy making really cool killing scene that are freakin amazing (if you like horror like I do) but no, he had to Zombie mold it! I have been a fan of Halloween and I’m very happy to say the franchise is successful because of people like me… so why insult and laugh in my face with Halloween 2 ZOMBIE?? First of all how dare you disgrace Loomis, and Donald Pleasence who played Loomis?? How can you have the first remake installment where Loomis is empathetic and kind and take it from that into an obnoxious a**hole in the second one? For the first time ever I hated Loomis and was glad he got killed. Throughout Halloween there has always been this close but distant bond between Loomis and Michael because Loomis was admirably not scared of Michael and he actually understood him, he felt could reach him. Why was this not betrayed in the remake of the sequel??
Another thing…where the hell was the Halloween theme throughout the duration of the movie?? The theme of the movie is like the newest Lil Wayne song that’s about to come out and you’re just waiting to blast it or hear and it never freakin comes out!!! Also what the hell was showing his face about? Michael never revealed himself for anybody. He never took of his mask for air, so why is he Mr. Exposure now all of a sudden?? I know Rob Zombie wanted his own spin but don’t choose a movie that has prior history of expectations to keep in line with and just dismantle them one by one.
Rob Zombie I must say throughout the focus point that you didn’t keep, or how the fact that your guy in the movie was no MICHAEL MYERS, Halloween 2 was scary as hell to me, therefore good I guess, but since this was a Michael Myers films, and I’m such a fanatic, overall I’m truly disappointed at the way you portrayed Mike. I mean Michael was grunting? He never grunts like that or that loud, he just breathes hard! I’m not saying be the follower but don’t go that far off the ledge!!! Will there be no remake that lives up to par around the 21 st century I mean it is asking for too much!! Jason was a total screw up in that remake with the fab Michael Bay who produced it. Showing more teen sex and drugs than telling the story of Jason like the original one did!! Please to any and all director can we just tell the story or stick to it, stop over killing things and just lay out a story that grips me into my seat!
And can we PLEASE exploit male private areas for a change, I mean if you going to go all out with nude scene for the gals, why not a balance of both? If I see more breast and lower areas especially coming from Rob Zombie films, I’m going to insane!
