HELP! Will My Criminal Record Keep Me From My Nursing Dream?

I have been thinking of asking my online friends a question, that ive tried to find the answer to.

The thing is, I have started to school to be a LPN, or an RN. They do a criminal background check. I have no felonies, n no actual drug charges, i say actual, because i have drug related charges, prostitution, possession of paraphenalia, and im not really sure, but i might have a charge of child neglect. The last of these was in 95, n am not sure that i did the time or paid the fines associated, but i do know ive had a couple of tickets, n they have run my license, n i have even stayed the night in jail over a no insurance ticket i didnt pay, since then.

i have told them about the insurance ticket, n an inspection sticker ticket, because they were in the last 10 years, but im wondering how much i should offer, i would not lie, i just dont wanna offer TMI!!! i want to know what they'll find. if u know the answer or could help me find out, i'd appreciate it.

Well it's very probable that they will check. If they ask about it and you tell them that you have been arrested in the past they will probably check it out.
