Report AbuseMaybe if McCain had not mentioned him 20 times in the last debate and continually now on the campaign trail, poor Joe might have some peace.

Report AbuseDon't blame Mccain. I am sure he never thought the screeching minions from the leftist media would descend upon Joe the Plumber. come on. If Obama had a Joe the Plumber asking questions of Mccain the guy would be the media's national darling But because Joe asked hard questions, has the audacity to have a background that is not sterling perfect and is a gasp a conservative its permissible for the minions of the media to descend to defend their messiah. It's pretty sad and pathetic that Biden and Obama have to ridicule a poor working class stiff. and it's true it he and his family they always talk about sitting "around the kitchen table." I guess that only hold for DEMOCRATS - not for conservatives sitting around the kitchen table. No, they will be nationally ridiculed. Yes, McCain mentioned him but was using him a metaphor and example for average working class people and their worries about Obama's tax plan. He was not saying go out and trash and camp out at Joe the Plumber's house. It's not fair no matter WHO mentioned him. I don't think Joe blames Mccain. I think he knows Mccain was not mentioned him maliciously or had any idea the media would try to gnaw apart this man on the behalf of their Messiah.

Report AbuseWow. Unbelievably well said Eleni. That's exactly what I was trying to get across. Nice to see someone else out there that would agree.

Report AbuseEleni and BigMamaE...I agree with you both. The media should leave that hard working man alone. It's ridiculous that Joe The Plumber is being scrutinized for asking a legitimate question. Heck, He's being scrutinized more than Obama's not so pristine associates, and he's running for President! Also, Sarah Palin, like her or not, she has been treated horribly! It's ashame that women are treated so poorly...Look at Hilary Clinton, she no doubt is more qualified than Obama, yet she's forced to bow out, grin and bear it for the 'good of the party'...What about the good of the country?

Report AbuseListen, the second John McCain opened his mouth and mentioned Joe's first and last name anyone with a computer could google that fool. It would not have been a big deal if he hadn't mentioned him 20+ times to try to pretend like he gives a crap about the working middle class.
The information on his back-taxes and the fact that he doesn't hold a plumbing license is public record and he should not be fixing people's plumbing if he has no license. I think that is one for the BBB. Eleni, I suggest you look up the definition for metaphor because you have no idea what it means. As far as poor little Sarah getting treated unfairly by the media, that is a pathetic neo-con attempt to try to hide the truth about that poor excuse for a v.p. candidate. It has nothing to do with the fact that she has a vagina.

Report AbuseIn some state (not sure if all states)a contractor or sub-contractor is able to preform a job under a Licensed plumber, daycare , etc. The only time that Joe would need a license is if indeed he's able to purchase the business he's currently working for...That is if he's able to afford it after all the taxes a 'president obama' would impose on him in order to 'spread the wealth around' or should we say Joe's wealth.
As for Sarah Palin, she has more qualifications that obama, especially considering that he voted 'present' on several important issues. But I respect others views even though they may be clouded.
