Honesty Breeds Happiness

user

Yeah, okay, I'll admit it. I can read the minds of others. It's not something I wish to do unless I'm out to save someone from doing something that is not in their best interest, and usually I try to stay out of the way and out of the minds of those in front of me, because to me it's like an intrusion. Unless you ask for what you want (which can produce failure or fortune) then you can't really place the blame on anyone else if you do or don't get it. Right?

Reading minds can drive a person straight to the brink of insanity. While I don't believe in the word insanity, except that we live "in-sanity", other people do. Interestingly enough, it is those other people that can take your life, and turn it up side down in a heartbeat due to their perception of the word insanity.

Just last night, while finishing up making dinner for the kiddo's and a friend, I could hear the friend "think", "I'm still hungry," but he never said a word. He watched as I cleaned up the kitchen and put everything away and never uttered one word about being hungry. Twenty minutes later we went outside to have a cigarette, and he started to talk about how he missed lunch and how what I prepared for him was good. Although I could have or as some people think, I should have just gotten up and fixed him more food, I was waiting to hear it from his own mouth. I live by the old saying, "Ask and you shall receive."

Although I find it hard to ask for what I would like or need at times, I have realized over the years that although people may see it or realize it right off the bat, unless I make it known by asking, I can perhaps miss out on what was readily available to me. Mind reader's aren't psychics, they are reading your wants; reading what you could easily speak outright if you would just take that chance, win or lose.

I have learned over the years, to decipher what is coming from the mind, rather than what is coming from spirit. I act on spirit messages because their intent is pure and most times I am just doing for them what they cannot do because the individual in front of me is not listening to them. Spirit is not in want for themselves, they are always out to help others. Those who confuse communication from spirit and man, are obviously reading the minds of another human being, and in doing so, will accomplish little in the big scheme of things.

Who are you listening to?
