  MHU:Sometimes corrupted html is the cause of a piece not appearing in chatter. This kind of corruption can occur as a result of our tendency to copy/paste content. To check if this is the reason... try this,

  Go to edit

  Go to Html

  Highlight the entire Html field

  Copy

  Delete the entire Html field

  add a period

  Submit the post

  Give it time to show up in the Chatter Field

  Then return to edit,

  follow all the same steps

  but paste your html back into the field instead of deleting it.

  This always works for me.

  Devonia, thanks for the tips. I usually paste into a notebook-type text editor to strip out formatting -- but not always. You may have found my Shine gremlins!
