Did you know kitty litter is an excellent way to easily get rid of oil spills off your carport?  It doesn't matter how old (or new) the spill is.  It will absorb it regardless.

Pour kitty litter on the oil stain on the carport.  Then wet it, as much water as the litty litter will hold.  Let it sit, and as it dries it will absorb the oil.

Kitty litter is also a good way to absorb odor.  But if you don't have any kitty litter on hand you can put some vinegar in a bowl, somewhere you know it won't be accidently spilled.  Or you could always just open a box of baking soda... which is also good at absorbing odors in the refrigerator as well as a closet, bathroom, or any room for that matter.

Charcoal briques are a good odor absorber as well.  These are all great ways of getting rid of odors in the house when you can't open a window.

These are also great ways to eliminate odors in shoes.  Before you put a charcoal brique in a pair of shoes, be sure to wrap it in a paper towel as not to smudge them.
