I am pretty excited. I wrote last week that I was interested
in this vounteer position and I went today and I start on
Monday! It is at a local Homeless Shelter. I have been
in major chronic depression for 4 years now, so this is going to be
quite a challenge for me. I don't get out often anymore,
but I am trying to change my life to be more positive and I love
helping other people.
HAVE ANY OF YOU VOLUNTEERED AT A HOMELESS SHELTER AND IF YOU DID,
WHAT WAS YOUR EXPERIENCE?

worked the food pantry at my church..loved it hope I helped some..
work at Habitat for Humanity..love it!!!I hope I am helping some...
Good for you Diamond!!! get out there and give of yourself..you are valuable and needed...you will see the rewards it brings as you are doing good for so many..I call it God's work..as He works thru us!!
