Internet distraction, and the daily list of To Do's!

I am off today,  and so far all I have done is browse around the internet,  I have plenty to do and need to get focused.    For me personally I have noticed that if I do not have a list of what needs to be done and what I would like to have done I just go through the day aimlessly.  That is ok sometimes but then on the other hand  I am a single mom and if I do not do it then it just does not get done.   The internet seems to be a wonderful detour from getting things done.  Even when I get on to check email,  or something I need to do,  I know I spend at least an extra 30 mins to an hour just browsing.   Does anyone else have this problem or any solutions. to being more efficient or focused?

I really think it's a common problem, it is for me as well... Like right now, I really should be accomplishing tasks at work and I know I should, but here I am sitting, chatting on Shine... :/

I think if the computer is on it somewhat calls to you. Turn it off and leave it off. A lot of people hate turning it off because of the delay of it coming on again. Maybe that will help. Just like a tv, if it's on we watch. Turn it off.
