Low energy costs, like gasoline, are not forever - We Need Change NOW

Cheap gas!!! YEAH!!!! Bush is out!!!! YEAH!!!! BHO is in
starting in January. Maybe YEAH.... We'll see.

The price of gas has very little to do with
Republicans. You are seeing supply/demand in action, and of course
speculators who were wiped out when prices started to decline.
People were real hot to beat up speculators as the root cause, yet
when the price fell, and speculators couldn't sell their
$140/barrel, they were destroyed.

Price
fluctuations like we have seen the past 2 years are not healthy -
both up and down.

I truly believe there was
more to oil pricing than speculation. Many factors were involved,
including fear (Middle East war between Iran and
Israel) and speculation. It was a plan to see how high oil
prices could go, and what was discovered was they went too high too
fast and crushed the world economy, not just America, but the world
economy. Gradual inflation is one the, shock and awe inflation is
totally different.

If anything, watch in 2009
for a new gas tax that will be proposed by the Democrats; most
likely it will be a percentage rather than a flat rate, and
possibly with a minimum tax/gallon. They'll slide it in
while prices are cheap and people won't squeal about a new
tax. They were talking about this when gas was $4+/gallon, and knew
the timing was wrong.

To quote Rahm Emanuel,
BHO's Chief of Staff, "the current economic crisis
offers opportunities for change that wouldn’t have otherwise
been possible. Never let a serious crisis go to
waste.

This says more about how liberals view
crisis in order to get what they want. They want crisis. They want
suffering. They want you to experience pain so you'll agree
that their Change is needed. They want high oil/gas/energy prices.
BHO and other liberals and Democrats have said that gas at
$4/gallon was OK, and maybe higher to help be on par with other
countries.

Enjoy low gas prices. They
won't last forever, and they will go back up. You better
hope we start new drilling new wells soon, AND initiate a real
energy policy that promotes alternative fuels like wind, solar,
coal, coal-to-oil, oil shale, NatGas, nuclear, and a new generation
of real electric cars that perform like gas engines. New wells take
10+ years to start producing; look at oil prices in 1998, and where
were in the summer of 2008. It takes 10 years to bring a nuclear
plant on-line. It takes a generation to create new car engines to
be main stream. It takes times, and it is time to start
now

We need oil-based products, they
won't go away for 50 to 100 years. Electricity is a better
choice and it will take 20-30 years to move towards a more
electric-based economy than oil. As we move towards electricity
from solar, wind and nuclear, face it, we still need oil.

We had a taste this summer for the shape of
things to come with energy costs, and now we are suffering in a
horrible global economy. Let's do the right thing in 2009
so we have inexpensive energy. Energy is the foundation for all
things we do and make. I'd rather see America create its
own energy than be dependant on foreign sources as we are today.

Lots of people wnat to see America collapse.
They'll do it through taxation. They'll do it
through energy inflation. They'll do it through the Global
Warming scam. They'll do it through our politicians.

I for one want to see America be the greatest
it can be. If other countries can't keep up, or repress
their people, too bad. Competion leads to excellence.
