New Stove

user

I recently purchased a Jenn-Air® Electric Downdraft Slide-In Range for my kitchen remodel.  It is a beautiful looking appliance, and I was very excited to own a Jenn-Air based on its reputation.  Although I’m sure it will give me many years of use, I must say that I was shocked to find out that after spending approximately two thousand dollars on this, I was going to have to purchase and electrical cord in order to operate it. Hello, I don’t think an electric range will work without a power cord!  The last range that I purchased was for my former home and was quite a bit less expensive; less than three hundred dollars.   I was very happy with that purchase, the stove performed fine, and I didn’t have to purchase a cord.  As I was very limited to the type of range I could purchase due to the application, I basically had to purchase this product.

While the price of the cord was minimal, the whole idea of spending this kind of money and then having to buy an additional part to make it work is disgusting.  I understand trying to make a profit, but this is just a company taking advantage of consumers.  Do you research prior to purchasing a product from this company.
