Report AbuseMind boggling! Next time I go to the grocery store, I'm going to ask why there are eggs in my carton instead of cupcakes.

Report AbuseHmmm...that's a good question, lryan242us. I would hope that the bakery had examined that issue before sending their goods out. Any food scientists/bakers/home ec teachers out there care to weigh in?

Report AbuseThere could be possible risk of Salmonella infection and other bacteria which could be present on the carton contaminating the cupcakes. I wish I could say it was a good idea because you're recycling but then why take the risk?

Report Abuseso a closed egg container won't smoosh the frosting at all?
and with the bacteria and salmonella, isn't it just the yolk/actual egg the part that would be contaminated? so if it's just the shell that's in contact with the container then no worries?
