Pelosi, the Criminal, Strikes Again
user

So, everyone agrees that tort/med mal reform will go a very
long way to controlling health care costs. Everyone, except,
Nancy Pelosi.
Pelosi, however, is a duplicitous, blood-sucking beast.
She
wanted not part of tort reform, and the latest lump of stool
considered by the House to refom "Health Care" tells
why:
- Section 2531, entitled “Medical Liability Alternatives,”
establishes an incentive program for states to adopt and implement
alternatives to medical liability litigation. [But]…… a state is
not eligible for the incentive payments if that state puts
a law on the books that limits attorneys’ fees or imposes
caps on damages.

Normally, I'd do my own reading and prepare a post on the
AHCAA, but there is no way I'm going to read 1,990 pages
of political porn, digest it, and comment on portions. It is
all crap, and it is aimed to give a hand out, not a hand up. I
reject it all.
The whole of the Obama scam appears in focus when you realize that
these scams and schemes of the Administration are precisely the way
Obama intended to make slavery reparations happen, from way back
before he ran of President. If you doubt that, you aren't
paying attention and haven't done your research. Git
'er done, bud.
I won't pay a penny to these beasts in the House and
Senate.
Because Democrats have deliberately locked out Republicans and
Indies (except for the VT socialist) out of deliberations, this
will health care bill will amount to taxation without
representation, and official recognition of SEIU as the federal
union of choice, this and the energy bills amount to taxation
without representation, and cuase to eject the present clowns from
the House, the Senate, and the White House.
Lest you think I'm a Republican or oriented that way, take note
that the GOP's attempts to offer counterproposals to fit into
the Dem's bill amounts to treason, too.
I refuse to give away my money and my rights, and I am willing to
fight to the bitter end, using any necessary means, to stop these
tools.
In this present political environment, either you are a Marxist, or
you are a libertarian/Constitutionalist. There no longer is a
"between."

Deni M, there's not much time left to lay down provisions and clean the long guns. I want to wear a gen-yoo-wine Davy Crockett cap when it starts.

I mean REALLY!!! I don't know if it's healthy for nice folks like us to stay "wring-their-chicken-necks" furious all of the time. And how can we help it when this stuff continues to hit from all directions and continues to pile up higher and higher? ARGH!!!

Although I haven't read it yet (still recovering from HR 3200), I suspect the AHCAA will haveeven more trickery, double talk, and hand outs for certain groups (med mal lawyers, selected unions, "social justice" groups).
What concerns me is that much of the damage (current and future) may be irreparable, or at least will require enormous costs to set straight.
The head long rush to subjugate US sovereignty to international agreements and treaties ought to concern even those who desperately want "health care reform."
It may be that the AHCAA is being used to wear people down, so that they are too tired to vigorously object to the upcoming cap-and trade sellout. Once we begin to make international agreements administered (and enforced) by international agencies, then foreign nationals will be able to march into our country and seize assets, arrest those considered "non-compliant" and so on.
The door will be open for other fiascos, too.
