"KUMUSTA KA?"

user

"KUMUSTA KA?" is the filipino term for  "How are you?"   In japanese this is the famous   "O genki desu ka?"  In  chinese this is called   "Ni hau ma?"   In spanish they call it  "comoestas?".  These are the commonly used words particularly when you are meeting new friends and visiting another country,  especially here  in  Japan.  My daughter  speaks  in three languages .  Tha's why she can easily relate to  a new  friend  in her school.  She  has friends  which  they  called  in Japan as  "nikkei-jin"  meaning  half -japanese.   They  bacame as close friends  easily  by using  this word only .  Those  children came from Brazil,  Peru etc.   The first  word they've  learned  from her is very easy,   "KUMUSTA KA?"
