Has anyone ever been involved in a relationship or friendship
with someone who is always complaining about how their "life
sucks" and "Why does this keep happening to
them"?
Maybe, a friendship with someone who only wants to dump their
problems on you and then when you have a problem they don't
want to listen to yours?
How about a relationship- When you are feeling positive
and they are always mopping around in self-pity begging you to join
them in either-- making them feel better by saying
"everything will be okay"?
Disclaimer:
The examples mentioned above does not include the
occasional "I'm having a bad day" but the
excessive ones who seem to be stiring in the constant drama in
their lives every single day.
Tell me your thoughts--- Are these friends worth keeping
around? Is it selfish to not want to be around or talk to
them as much?

I don't think anyone should do something they don't want to, but at the same time I wonder does GOD's love have limits t'wards us. Christian means Christ-like. I wonder why that is? Matter a Fact wouldn't it be funny if GOD that we always pray to him for help and he got tired of listening to us, comforting us and telling us everything is going to be alright. I guess for some people if it wasn't for GOD they would have no one. This article really gave me another reason to praise the LORD better than I have lately. The things we believe our very powerful.

Report AbuseYou're right, Michael. Funny thing is, these days, it's usually the Christians who are not only the stupidest, but also the most selfish and compassionless towards others.
They can try to justify or rationalize it all they want, but that's all it boils down to.
They just need to do what they have to do with the people in their lives and not compound their sins by diminishing the other person's pain with cries of, "Well, you just complain too much."
That's why I'm anti-Christian. Can't stand the bull$#it and the hypocrisy and the pretences of being deep and intellectual and caring and compassionate when, in fact, most of what they have to say is superficial, self-conscious, psuedointellectual CRAP.
They'd sell out their own grandmothers for a dollar, and yet they somehow think of themselves as spiritural guardians. PUKE.
So, to the author of this blog...good luck to ya. And, if you ever happen to go through anything truly traumatic in your life (though I presume you probably take great pains to avoid anything difficult) I truly hope the people you turned away earlier are there to spit in your face and ridicule you in your pain.

You sound so hipocritical when you understand everybody elses wrongs and commit the same offenses. How does it solve anything to wish something bad happens to someone because of thier belief. I can see life throwed you some lemons and it made you more bitter. You really need a hug or two and a reality check. This is no way to talk to a Woman and especially a Mother. Now if that doesn't envoke some kind of human emotions in you then you and the christians you can't stand have alot more in common than you led me to believe.

Report AbuseHey...yes i have had those type of friends...and a few relationships like this as well...its sucks misery loves company so i try to stay away as much as possible i dont think its selfish at all because you spend 85% of the time listening to them and their issues...when are they every just happy for no reason at all...its like enough already theres so many people going thru things in life not just you so pick ya head up and keep it pushing....everyday cant be a bad day, just thank god for waking up and being able to see the sunshine!!!!

Report AbuseI have a few friends like that. What they fail to realize is the more they complain about what they have or dont have the more they speak their problems into existance. In order for one to truly be happy they first need to find happines within themselves. Happiness is right there inside them...all they need to do is look.
