Michael Jackson was pronounced dead today after paramedics responded to a 911 call and found him in a coma at his Bel-Air mansion. He was 50 years old.

While it would be hard to know from his last very rough years, Michael Jackson was once on the top of the world--the King of Pop. Despite years of tabloid gossip surrounding his increasingly odd appearance and behavior along with his trial and acquittal on child molestation charges, we would like to remember Michael as a pop icon who revolutionized music, fashion and dance throughout his career.

Michael Jackson entered the music world at 11 years old, as the youngest member of the Jackson 5 and began his increasingly successful solo career in 1971. "Off the Wall," "Thriller," "Bad," "Dangerous," and "HIStory," all rank as some of the world's best-selling records of all time. He is in the Guinness Book of World Records as the "Most Successful Entertainer of All Time," with 13 Grammy Awards, 13 number-one singles and has sold over 750 million albums worldwide. Many claim he was one of the most famous men on the planet with a monumentally successful music career spanning four decades. Also, he could moonwalk. Michael Jackson's music continues to influence many talented performers to this day, and despite his passing, his boundless hits and unique style will be remembered forever. Rest in peace, we will miss you.

Stay tuned for our Michael Jackson greatest moments tribute.

Maybe Michael did have his faults but who doesn't and who are we to judge. It is not us he has to answer to in eternity we all have one maker and it His decision on judgement day to decide if your soul is pure enough to enter those pearly gates. remember its never to late to repent for He is truly a forgiving GOD

    LauraRocks-

I’d hate to assume wrongdoing about a person who is innocent so please tell me, why do you believe he was innocent of those allegations. Is it because you know him and the children he admitting to having sleep in his bed personally and have details about the miss understanding. Or did you learn it was a fib through your personal the first two children who MJ paid over 25 million dollars too settle out of court and drop the molestation charges so he wouldn’t go to jail. Maybe you have some insight that I don’t if so please share??? Or are you like every other celebrity smitten fan who thinks they know someone because they watched them sing and dance. That somehow fame automatically makes you innocent. MJ was infamously known as a spendthrift who had no concept of money and didn’t mind writing checks to charities, he had no problem writing checks for anything and everything he ever saw. Walking through stores pointing at hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of stuff to be packed up and put in storage not to ever be seen again. Hence the Self Indulgence comments and the reason he died in major debt despite making hundreds of millions. I hope all souls find peace before death from Mother Teresa to Hitler but as far as the works of men, the world is better off without some of them. My belief is the world is better off without MJ, he was a self-indulgent pervert. Regardless of what he sang about (to make money) its not what a person proclaims it what he does that matters. It sounds to me as if you need to come out of the cave a realize that things are what they are. Look up '6o minutes Michael Jackson' on you tube, pull your head out of your butt and watch some real news not Entertainment Tonight

Rest in peace Michael!!! You are a great artist and you will be missed. For those of you that are saying ugly things about Michael you were not there or were you? We are not the judges here on earth and if it was my child I would not take money from someone if they were guilty. I think the parents coxed this child for money. I would never take money from someone that would have hurt my child. Think about it people.
