seven demons

She stood by the window, gazing outward toward the freedom she imagined exsited there.  Incased in fear and want her soul cried out for mercy. But anger rose within and it consumed her. She had grown bitter and contempt had taken its place upon her lips.  For her prayers seemed to go unanswered.
How could this have happened she thought? She had been so close to God for so many years, she had been in his presence, felt his healing touch, and held blessing to numerious to count. Yet now in her  darkness she felt alone, abandoned by her God.  She knew he had not left, that it was her that moved away from his grace.  This thought only drove her deeper into dispair.  Why had she aloud herself to get to this point? Over and over again thought weaved in her mind, thoughts of pain and hurt that had taken bits and pieces of her soul through the many years.  The enemy had tricked her, she bought his lies and believed in his spells, she had fallen.  She now found herself buried deep in his grasp. Never before had she felt such despair.  She new that seven  demons had come into her clean house and they brought with them more destruction then before.  But she also knew her Lord was not far, all she had to do was reach out to him.  But could she?  Could she turn away from self, could she let go of fear?
Could hope rise up within her again?  fear, contempt, bitterness, rage, covetness, pride, and unforgiveness had a stronghold on her.

She cried out to her Yeshua...

Save me she cried and fell to her knees, Lord forgive me I have become ugly and deranged by the things of this world.  I left my first love and I have embraced the flesh.  I need you Lord, cleanse me of my sins and renew a steadfast spirit within me.  I repent of my sins and turn away from them.  return me to the joy of my salvation.

With this she then sat in silence, her head lowered in shame.

She felt no movement, she felt no change occur.  Yet she knew her Lord had heard her.  She knew he loved her and would again recieve her.

That night as she layed down to sleep her soul was at rest.  She made no request, asked for no favors,
she only wanted to give herself away to her Lord.  Tears dripped down her cheeks for she knew Lord was there holding her, letting her know that joy does cometh in the morning and the freedom she so despertly seeks would only be found in Him.

You have found what you desire most in life. Your God is it for you.

Make peace and honor him. I have never been a religious person. I wish you every happiness in your quest, my friend.

    Much love to you!

Poetry, I loved this work too! Honey you do have it ALL! Your poems are heavenly and you write with such heartfelt emotion it is easy to be carried to that place and moment in time that you are writing about.

This could have been me you were writing about or any one of millions of people who feel that life has not been fair...........

Heck, we know it aint fair, but it sure is glorious so we can all rejoice in that. I do that by seeing Lady Jane's posts, she starts me laughing for the day. Then I continue on to all the other posts that bring me "Joy", "Peace" "Comfort" and sometimes, "Answers" but always fellowship.

    Hugs to you and yours

Po, we should have been calling each other! Honey the past two months have been something......lol I did the normal, what I could not change, I just concentrated on something else entirely. I do believe that is the Ostrish Approach to solving life's little problems. Just say, "It is beyond my control, so I am lucky, I dont have to do anything." LOL

Okay maybe not the best way to handle things, and I cant say that it works for me because I still got a little lost.

    Hugs to you and yours

    Poetry,

The ugly and derainged has filled my thoughts with the dispare and

    hurt,

I go to my prayers asking for a cleansing of mind and word.

I need to focus on the triggers and make the change in my thoughts and words before they engulf my happiness,

    A Wonderful Post!
