Okay, so I'm authoring Adobe-Masters.com, a website for
free tips and tutorials about web design and programming.
That's great, but today I'm questioning myself about what am I
getting out of it. How am I benefiting?
The Benefits Of Authoring A Free Tips Website
The first would be the benefit of knowing that I'm helping alot of
people solve problems that they run into while setting up their
websites. The site, at this point, averages about 200 visits
per day.
The second benefit is the fact that
I'm learning as I go. I'll be the first to claim that I'm not
a know it all, but I'm always looking for the answers. As I
am inspired with new content ideas, there's always a learning curve
involved that somehow relates to the helping benefit mentioned
above. When we add up the learning and helping it actually
results to teaching.
Another benefit is the opportunity to meet other webmasters,
programmers, and designers. Only if people would comment more
and show gratitude, instead of taking the answers and running off,
things would be much better!
The last benefit I guess, is the financial benefit. This
leads me to another question. What makes a website
profitable?
