The Hollywood recession: Lindsay makes $70,000 for showing up to a party

We are pretty sure we heard that the Las Vegas economy was suffering during the recession, but for some reason the MGM Grand paid Lindsay Lohan big bucks to host a pre-birthday party at the hotel's Wet Republic pool last Saturday. Her 23rd birthday isn't until tomorrow, but the hotel and casino already paid her $70,000 just for hanging out at the five-hour bash.
