Before hundreds and hundreds years ago , there was a prisoner
who just had one day to live . His death sentence would be done in
the early morning of the next day . So could you imagine his
feelings and his emotions in that particular night ?! Anyone in
this difficult situation would be scared , terrified and he could
do anything to survive ! Could you imagine for a second , that you
were that one who just had a few hours in the world ?!
This prisoner was kept alone inside an old , giant castle which was
full of guards inside and outside to keep an eye on him . He must
was a dangerous one , who commited something horrible like a murder
, an aspionage , or a crime which might destroy some societies back
there , who knows !
It had been so many years since he was locked inside this prison ,
hoping that one day , the king would forgive him and consider all
this time spent as an enough punishement . He was really hoping
that one day he could go out to start over his life in some place
too far from here , where he could live in peace and quiet the rest
of his life ! So , this dream might be come to life with the
king's offer !
The last day before the death sentence , the king came by to visit
the prisoner who was so much surprised and relieved because he had
heard that in each time his highness visited someone in the prison
, there was a really good chance for the forgiveness ! The prisoner
then was brought and stood in front of the king who said : ( So
tommorrow is the day that we all in this kingdom have been waiting
for ! But , tommorrow could be 100% different for you because you
could save your own life by accepting the offer in which you will
have another long life ! So listen carefully , this night you will
be alone in this castle . It will be free of guards and you will be
free to move and search wherever you like inside it until you can
find a door that allows you to exit from this prison , so once you
find it ,consider yourself a free man who has a life to enjoy !
You've all the night to dig in and of course that me and the
guards we will come back tommorrow morning to see the result ! If
you didn't find it , you could forget my offer and be well
prepared for your big day ! ) Without any another single word , the
king , his guards and his entourage turned back and closed the
castle's main door .
The prisoner now took a while thinking about what just had happened
! This could be the only chance he had and he must kept it till the
end ! (1 , 2 , 3 , now or never ! ) He said to himself , announcing
the searh activity ! Because the size of the castle , he organised
the mission to many parts so that he could save the time and search
everything and everywhere ! He could feel the Adrealine raising up
in his blood , but he kept reminding himself to calm and to
concentrate because his life was depending on this silly game that
the king created and seemed to have so much fun with it ! "
Who is he to treat us this way and since when the issue of gaming
with people's life was something easy to do ! " He talked
to himself with those words from time to time during the search in
the big basement which had no sign of any secret or not secret door
!
Then he went to the first floor , the place where his jail was in ,
and started to search every three single corner in it . It should
be mention that every corner had some kind of painting over the
wall . After he had checked the two corners and had pulled them
away to see if there was something behind , he went directly to the
last corner which was near to the castle's main door . So he
pulled away the heavy colorful painting , and finally he found it
!
He saw a small door in the wall with a tiny brown grab in the
center . The prison drow a big smile on his face , thinking that he
would finally survive and get out from here , so he quickly opened
the door and jumbed inside what looked like a narrow tunnel. He
couldn't walk there without a candle because it was dark there
and no one knew exactly what could be inside this very
old place ; it possibly contained something alive which had
been living there before even he was sent here ! Anyway , there was
absoulotly no time to think about this things , he had to get in
and see what was hidden .
The smell of that little place was unbelievable and there were also
some mice and another flying insects , but he focused and moved on
until he saw something that made him pleased ! He saw a wooden door
at the end of this place with the word (EXIT) above it . He opened
it directly and threw himself on the other side to see that he was
again in the same basement which he had searched and left before
with no result ! He really felt sorry that he had spent so much
time for nothing actually !
He realized now that he should hurry up and work harder than before
because there wasn't a plenty of time until his highness would
come in the early morning to complete the unfinished game ! Now ,
he had to search both the second and the third floor and see if he
could reach the rough . At these critical moments that he was
living it right now , he suddenly discovered how much important the
time was and how a moment could save someone's life and change
almost everything ! The prisoner kept always reminding himself to
focus on what he was doing ! It wasn't really a good time for
the philosophy and the logic stuff ; he must find the door which
would open a new life for him , so the search went on and on !
During his ups and downs , he found many secret doors and rooms in
almost everywhere , but with no result at all ! At the end of all
that works and all his efforts , he decided to lay down on his back
on the floor , just in front of the castle's main door ,
closing his tired eyes which hadn't slept since a long time ago
, waiting the death gang to appear suddenly soon just like the
ghost he always saw in his nightmare ! He decided this time to
sleep well , no matter what would wait him later ! Now , it
didn't matter to him anymore what would happen after a while
!
In the early morning , he waked up after having had a peaceful nap
to find himself looking hardly to the king - as he had nothing to
do except to execute him ! - who said using a sarcastic voice : (
Hope that you slept well in your last night ! Someone didn't
take seriously the only chance he had to survive ! I am sure that
you looked and searched everywhere here , but you didn't need
to do all that ! I guess that you want to know where the door is !
Well there isn't really one that could lead you outside from
here , in fact the door has been always in front of your eyes ! If
you had well focused last night when we left you here alone , you
would have noticed that the castle's main door which has been
always in front of you all the time , wasn't locked (closed)
!!! So , prisoner , tell us your last words or your last wishes ! )
