Report AbuseI remember that feeling when SoCal, where I live, was on fire. My apartment in San Marcos had been evacuated, but luckily I'd stayed at my BF's house that night. The smoke was thick and disgusting and I couldn't wait for it to be done with too. Just keep up your prayers and do what you can for those Firemen, if anything. Imagine if you were the person trying to put out the flame, not just be irritated by the smoke.

Report AbuseI am really sorry to hear of all the trouble you've had out there, those fires were fierce!!! I am sure the air quality will be very bad for quite sometime (unfortunatley)and it stinks for you and your family not being able to live your everyday normal lives it must be frustrating. Kids don't always understand things like this and I am sure it is epsecially exausting trying to figure out things to do instead of be outdoors enjoying summer like kids should. This too shall pass and I hope for you and your family sooner then later. Take care and know that people on the east coast are thinking of you.
