So, in light of Gustav's uncertain path, my college has issued a
mandatory evacuation order. Even though the storm is currently
leaning to the west. Even though my family in the Caribbean says
it's mostly rain. (Yeah, yeah, I know, the storm could pick up
strength over the Gulf's warm waters, yadda, yadda, yadda.) I'm no
weather expert, but this just seems frivolous to me. Now I get to
miss a week of classes, all because a certain university felt the
need to close, and all the others just had to follow
suit.
At least I get to evacuate with my friends. This promises to be an
adventure.
I forgot to blog about my MRI. It went well. Except that I have
apparently developed a fear of needles.
