The Unspeakable Word, by Patriot

America, the most beautiful word I know. But there is another word a word that doesn't seem to have
any meaning. That word is Unity. I have spoken of this word on several of my blogs, with hope to see
if we as Americans feel that it is viable. To see if we can put aside our differences for the greater good
of our nation. You see our government is set to keep political diversity at an all time high. This allows
them to manipulate the system to their advantage against us as Americans. Yes I said against us. Our
government has intent in so many ways of surrendering to the will of the U.N. . There contention is
that we should change our ways to suit the needs of the world. What about the American people and
their needs, we have families that are suffering, we have strife and hunger. Why should we constantly
meet the needs of the world when the needs of our own country are not being met.
Our government is intent on creating more governmental organizations when the organizations we
have now are not being monitored properly, and are full of corruption. So I try and speak of unity as a
nation and the responses that I get are both shocking and expected. Why should we look past our
differences, thats what makes America great is our differences. When what makes our country great is
our freedom to have those differences not that we do. There are times when we must look past the
easy and gentle way of life and just get out there and kick some butt to preserve our future. Yes If we
don't get past our differences to deal with the situation at hand we will not have the country that we
are so proud of for long.
What I ask for on this post is for your opinion for how we as Americans can come about and make
that change. How do you feel about the nature of our economy. Is the unrest we see in our nation
elevating to possible revolt. Does it take a tragedy to get people to stop and think and act on better
caracter. Will we have to see blood spilled on or soil as we are forced to fight to maintain our rights.
Is a human life worth giving up for our future and prosperity. I for one would rather live free and die
young than to live under governmental policy. I want to hear your views. Is our country worth our
unity, are we willing to stand up and be heared as a nation.

Report AbuseI also want to see UNITY. I agree, that all differences need to be put aside for the greater good of our nation. TOGETHER, UNITED is the only way we can move forward.
I see the finger pointing, name calling, the "I" am right, "You" are wrong attitude many people share.
Disagreement doesn't have to become "ugly." My friends and I disagree on different things. But our relationship doesn't suffer because we "agree to disagree."
Our children are looking to us for guidance. Without teaching them respect for differences, how will they learn to be UNITED?
