You know for the past few days as I browse over the shine
chatterbox it seems all anyone wants to write about is
racism....skin color...the rights that this one or that one has.
What is wrong with you people? There aare so many other things we
could be talking about. For example: How we as a people can band
together to help fight crime (all types of crimes) here at home,
How to better our school systems, How to save our children from
this God forsaken world that WE have created for them, Finding a
cure for HIV,cancer and every other horrible disease we can think
of, Ending the drug wars, Stopping addiction, and last but not
least Uniting to bring our people home safe and sound from this
terrible war they are so galantly fighting so that you and I can
remain free to act as foolishly as we do. Come on people Get Over
Yourselves. That is, whether any of you want to admit it or
not, what is really wrong with this great country of ours. Too
many people thinking just of themselves and not of what is best for
the greater good. We all bleed red. Or do we? Many of you
say that you believe in God and yet you go against everything
he stands for. Don't get me wrong now I'm not doubting
anyone's religon. I don't know anyone of you well enough to
pass judgement. All I can go by is what I read day in and day out.
If we all would stop the name calling, slander throwing,
misrepresentation of our neighbors and judgement passing of
someone, anyone who seems a wee bit different than ourselves we
might just realize that we like our neighbor, that we all have
problems and that none of us is perfect. So before you throw out
that flaming dagger or spew out something that is hurtful or
untrue THINK. You may surprise yourself! As someone once said(and I
would use quotations if I could remember who...oops there's one
of my flaws!) Can't We Just All Get Along?
