If you adore these Crown Plaques from Ballard Designs as much as I do, you'll be sad to know they are sold out until March 2010. That's right: March! To find something from Ballard Designs for $35 is a major accomplishment so it's no wonder these beauties are in such high demand.
Rather than get my panties in a bunch, I headed over to Etsy.com and found this wood crown (12" wide x 8 1/4" tall) from Texas Art Crafts which I'm going to spray paint black and hang in my bedroom. Even better, I convo'd them and they can make another crown design that I saw in a small size in a bigger size for me. Score! So instead of paying $35, I'll end up paying around $25 with shipping/handling, etc. Yay! Got to love Etsy!
