Whats Wrong With Our Society 101 chapter1

It seems with all the stress America is taking, with the failing economy, hard issues of immigration, national security, fuel dependency, and the list goes on and on. We are starting to see the true colors or what I like to call the reality of men, start to come out.  People are more opinionated and are more active and aggressive in the everyday issues of the world.  Sadly there is more of a divide in the country on most of these issues.  One of the worse things i see is the selfishness and the vanity our people have been displaying.  Most these people who display this don't even see it, that's the tragic part.  I'm not a left winger or right.  I enjoy hearing such programs as the Hannity show, and locally Inga Barks.  Both very bright people, but both suffer from a brainwashing just as severe as most liberals.  I mention them to make an example more of you could understand.  How you ask, allot of the problems that divide people are the the things you covet.  Hannity and Inga talk of god, but most of what they talk about has to do in some form about money and how they are scared of loosing it.  And if anyone pays attention they could read between the lines and see that.  I'm not saying they don't have great points on some issues, what I'm saying is money drives them.  Most people ain't content with the gift of life. Being happy coming home to their loved ones and having diner, with meaningful conversation then a good night sleep.  As Americans we are use to having luxury.  And when I say that, that pertains to 90percent of America.  The way you need to look at it is like this.  Find the worst off country in the world.  Than look at ours and what you have compared to theirs.  When welfare mom Lisa, or minimum wage Jack, go to get a 99cent cheese burger, feeling its hard times cause they couldn't get the meal. that's a sad thing.  The fact you have the luxury of even getting that burger should be good enough, but often we see it but don't want to recognize it. or we just don't see it at all.  bottom line is this.  things can get worse, but if you start to understand that life is good if you have a meal, descent health, and a roof over your head.  Then you will wake up everyday with optimism. That what ever comes your way that's a little more than you have. Then its extra, and its great.  but dint need nor count on it. Take it for what it is, gravy.  As Americans we suffer from this detract of wealth.  But believe me, it is all a mental state we have put and accustomed to. But it can be fixed, by reteaching your self Mans history, and how we were once happy as a civilization with just living for the day.  This is a huge subject that could go on and on, but we will stop here and revisit it in the near future. To all God Bless

Yea I would agree with most of this. What makes Americans unhappy is our government destroying our future. That is something that we cannot afford to just put the blinders on be happy for the day.

We have little kids beating each other to death. While some on looker with a video camera watchs and doesn't do a thing about it. We have gang violence that running rampid in our inner city streets while people sit around and just say its not my problem.

What makes humans happy is personal integrity, that know one seems to have anymore. To busy sitting around waiting for some one else to do something about it. Just be happy for the day sure and tommorrow will be that much worse. Get out there and make a difference about something and then come tell me how good that felt to make a difference. People with pride in them selves and their community are happy people, people that sit around and don't do anything they are miserable and blaming it on someone else.

Your definetly right on. What ever is the right thing to do at any moment should be done if it is all possible. The bottom line is it starts with the individual, then that person passes it on to his or hers kids, and so forth a good society. The problem is, parents are not doing their job. The next generation comes out more liberal, with less values. And if it aint the Libs its the money hungry Repubs who raise their kids believing materials and yourself first. The Repubs make the middle class believe they are for them by throwing them a bone, while they keep their lobbiest fatt at a demorlizing cost. In the end you watch. It will be a clash of the poor and the ritch. with the middle feeling the casulties of high crime, and more taxes.
