What's wrong with Wicca?

My question, Why?  Why are we sought to be evil, or demons, WICCA IS A RELIGION TOO YOU KNOW!!! For all of you strong Christians out there I understand your reasons, I was Christian at one point too but I realize now that Wicca is more than magic tricks, I for one lean more to the darker side and a few of those  in my "Coven" seek revenge for those who burned the witches at the stake so many years ago. Gypsies, Witches, innocent women! But what I dont see is why people find it so wrong!!!! Honestly. If your going to talk about the school Wicca behind their back, DO IT SUBTLY!!! So many people I knew tell me to go back to being Christian, they're practically shoving their religion down my throat! But I want to do this. So all of you Wicca's and Witches out there, please tell me you've had the same experiances!!!

I have no idea what exactly WICCA is. I've heard of it, but have never researched it.....And I'm tired of having Christianity shoved down my throat as well!

You do know that wicca did not even exist until the 1960's. I mean you do read more books than to ride a silver broom stick?

Sorry that came off harsh, it’s just that when people talk about people getting burned it raises hackles on me. Most the people who where put to death both in Salem, and in the Spanish inquisition, were done so, because of there political views of the church, or the fact they where wealthy and not willing to part with there wealth via the state or the church. They where branded heretics yes, but only as a convenient scapegoat for these actions of the state and church. Furthermore, those in America, who started the craze where girls under the effect of the fungus that LSD is derived from. From there it started a wave of politically movaited killings and lynching, of people who disagreed with the churches/governments political airastoicy of the early American era. Of those killed maybe 12 or 15 actually practiced anything near witch craft, most of those where loosely practicing druidic hermitic, English traditionalist folk healers, midwives who empowered women, and I think one alchemist who was a man.

Wicca had no part of it, as it was started by a woman named starshine, and a mans who’s name escapes me, who wanted to create a female centered religion in the 1960's based loosely, but not taken from older Celtic and druidic practices.

Look buddy, I was half asleep when I wrote this post. I don't want any fancy facts, and yes, I'm coming off a bit strong but I am sick of people and their facts. Please dont take any of this offensive.

I'm going to be looking in too Wicca and other things like it but I still have to live with my parents and they think this (Wicca) is really retarded. I can't even have the books I'm reading on my shelf because they say there evil and want them out of there house but I can't stop! I just feel a closeness to wicca and things like it I love the magickal feeling I get and I just really love but I can't stand to hurt them.

How can I keep Wicca as my religion? Please help!
