Why Keep Giving Money to The Wrong People

So, my problem is I let things build up inside of me, until I am literally on the verge of exploding. The problem I am having today is with the government (president, congress, and any other group of people who is in charge of making the frivolous, wrong, harsh decisions that have been made) and what they are doing with this money. We all already know that taxpayers money has been given to the big companies who in return hand out bonuses (Goldman Sachs). And what is even sader is the government has made a second go round, and gave some of the previous companies who received stimulous money, another dose of "taxpayers" money. The heartache comes down to when we "the little guys" don't even feel the difference in our pockets. Credit card companies who got bailout money were told that they are to pass it down, or pay it forward whatever you want to call it, to the consumers, and that is not being done. When a person who has ruined their credit call their credit card company, and ask for a lower rate so they could realistically afford to pay the card off, they are being told "sorry, we cannot help you at this time. But try back in 6 months." I know, I worked for them. I was the one on the other end of the phone who had to tell the consumers they could not be helped. And it is mainly because most, not all, (I wouldn't know because I have not worked for all, but I have worked at a few) leave it up to the employees to choose and pick who they want to help. I see these car companies who got bailout money are making newer cars, and offering the "we'll make your car payments for you if you lose your job" dream to consumers. But are they stupid, or is it they just don't care when making these slogans. Uh.....Duh.....stupid people have already lost their jobs. So now what? How about putting me into a car with my bad credit, with a very low car payment, with an unheard, low interest rate, with no money down, with my first payment starting 3 months from the time I get the car, and without me waiting at the dealership for 3 hours to close the deal, so I can get to and from work because my other car conked out on me. Why didn't the "Man" make terms like that a stipulation when giving these companies money? And these mortgage companies who got help.....I don't even know where to start with them. I was the prime example. Late on my mortgage payments because I lost my job. I was 3 months past due. But because of the good Lord, and my faith I found another job in my 3rd month of delinuency. I went to my mortgage company to ask for a modification, and do you know what I was told? "Well, we cannot do a modification for you because you have not been at your job long enough." And when I asked to refi I was told, "Well, your rate is already low, so we can't beat that rate." I mean are you serious? They didn't even try to take an application as my right allows me to put in. And this isn't just any ol' side company we're talking about. I mean I have my mortgage with a well-known lending institution. Oh yes, of course I wrote to my Attorney General and everybody else on the list. You bet your bottom dollar that I got a response. Here it goes: Well we are going to look into this matter and notify you of our findings. Please protect your identity. Here are numerous companies who offer identity protection for a very low fee, to ensure that you are not a victim of it. Get the hell out of here. What? WTF? What does identity theft have to do with me requesting an application to modify my mortgage? The same way President Bush got stimulous checks sent to "Taxpayers" is the same thing President Obama can do. But.....no.......instead he rather give it to companies who cried broke when they really weren't. You know it was bogus when Sachs was able to give his employees bonuses. If they were really broke, when they got that stimulous money, they would not have even thought about handing out bonuses. If anything he would have told his employees he would have to decrease their salary. So who's holding a bag of bull s---? Not us, the little ol' taxpayers. The one's who are struggling just to make ends meet, and then have to suffer and look at the television where they are broadcasting people are getting bonuses. Why can't the government stroke checks and hand them to the taxpayer's, and then use it as a tax write off like organizations, and businesses who want to break even? But at the end of the day, it is what it is, and it's going to be what's it's been.......and that's the same with no change.
