Would You Live in a Real Live Haunted House to Save on Rent?

http://www.thehorrordome.com/HDSHOPPINGPROPS/LifesizeDisplays/HauntedHouseLG.jpg
In honor of the spookiest month of the year, Rent.com conducted a survey that found two-thirds of renters would bunk with ghosts if it meant cheaper rent.

Survey says:

51 percent of renters would live with ghosts if their rent was free.

27 percent would live with ghosts for half-price rent.

30 percent would do it for free utilities.

23 percent would do it for a free flat-screen TV with cable. (Anyone care to guess how many of the people who picked this option were men?)

31 percent said there was no way they’d live with ghosts.

The numbers don’t add up to 100 because the people who said they’d live with ghosts could say yes to multiple circumstances, but you get the idea.

So here are the circumstances: In your current home, doors start slamming inexplicably, rooms get cold without warning, your pets are constantly spooked, and sometimes you hear disembodied crying or screams late at night.

Would you stay if the rent was free? Cut in half? If you got free utilities? Or a new TV with free cable? How ’bout a new pair of shoes every week? Free nightly massages?

While free rent sounds fantabulous, I have to say I’d get the hell outta dodge. Quickly. (I don’t do scary movies, never mind scary living setups!)

I do live in a haunted house. We have a Confederate Solider and a little boy. We live not far from the Battle of Franklin, Tn. Our down the street neighbor has a Confederate Solider ghost to, or maybe he is the same one?

It depends what kind of ghost. Friendly, or scary? If it's friendly, then why not. And if they know not to sneak up behind me while I'm moving stuff from the washer to the dryer. :)

Oh yea, I would live in a Haunted House or rent a place, I've seen things that would make your skin crawl. U have a some harmless ghosts and then you have a "bad ghosts". It wouldn't bother me any.

Rmemeber that the ghosts are caught between 2 worlds and they don't know that they died.

Ghosts do not exist, but if I get free rent under that pretext... I'll just find myself an old priest and a Young priest.

As long as they're not demonic entities, sure why not!

    LOL...

    Would be fun!

Ghosts to exist.... (Father, Son, Holy Ghost).....

All humans have a soul, and after death, that soul is ever more alive, just in a different form. There's no rule saying they cannot contact the currently living...

I don't believe in hauntings or ghosts, so, yes, I would.
