Would You Live In An...airplane?

Jo Ann Ussery would. After her home was flattened by an ice storm in 1994, she moved into a retired Continental Airlines 727], which she purchased for a total of $2,000. $24,000 of renovations later, she had a 3-bedroom home with a master bathroom (with jacuzzi tub) tucked into the cockpit—not to mention plenty of windows and overhead storage. I only wish we had pictures of the interior. Read about more jet-set homes on Airportjournals.com. [via Very Short List via Superuse]

With all the traveling I do for business I've had nightmares about being stuck on a plane so won't think of moving into one however this makes it seem kind of neat. I too would love to see the interior!

for a brief minute i thought this could be fun but given my extreme fear of flying(despite the fact that I fly all the time)i am afraid i would wake up with nightmares! kudos to her though.

Refreshing, wasn't it, to not see Jenny Sanford standing silently beside her fake-Appalachian-Trail-hiking, adulterous husband? And, then, to see her personally hand her statement to reporters.
