IS IT REALLY WORTH IT

Is the military the place you want to be right now.  I have 6 years in and 14 more until retirement.  I am very unsure if I can hang in that long.  The pay is ok and the benefits are awesome but is it really worth it.  I have a family who I havent seen in 8 1/2 months and I am very tired.  This can be very stressful on and marriage.  I am currently in Iraq and I have seen or heard of alot of married people not being faithful to there spouse.  Although I am not interested in anyone else but temptation can be a bit$h.  Is the military really worth it?

You alone can make that assessment. All I can tell you is this - I'm praying for each of you, everyday, that you each come back asap! Please hang in there! My thoughts and the thoughts of others are with you as well. You truly are special.

There are no words to express how proud I am that you are serving our country. I for one, I cannot speak for everyone here, do not believe in this war. But, I do know that each and everyone of you that is out there needs to come home. I am praying for that - my father and others in my family have served many years in the military and all I can say is this... be strong, hold on to your faith and believe that all of this will come to an end soon!

God Bless you and your families - that they have you in their arms soon!

"When you're embarking on a job search, talk to everyone who comes across your path, through recommendations from colleagues and friends -- even if there is no job right now or it's to talk about a job or company you don't think you're interested in. You never know what will come out of that conversation...
