It sure didn't surprise me that the new owners of Starbucks is messing upa good business already. I worked for one of their coffee packing companies and they really let it go downhill too. Seems they only care about the bottom line and not what customers want. Sure, everybody is down-sizing because of the price of fuel, utilities, shipping, etc. But there is no excuse for them buying a real going concern like Starbucks and letting this happen. It's rumored that they only bought Starbucks because they felt they were a huge competitor to their other coffee businesses, if this is true, pretty petty way of doing business. Starbucks was always known for treating their employees like gold, good-by to that. I know from first-hand knowledge that the little guy doing the real hard work in the coffee business is treated like a nothing, no matter how much you do for them. Seems to be the way most of these big companies treat their employees these days. I just had to get that off my chest. I'm really passionate about the way American workers are treated.
