Video break: "Office Space" interview scene

Need a laugh? There are lots of scenes from the movie "Office Space" that could carry you through a ridiculously frustrating day at work, and this is by far one of my favorites. Would that we all could say exactly what's on our mind to the "Bobs" hired to downsize a company and end up getting promoted, not merely fake fired.

You gotta love Peter Gibbons' description of his typical day, which starts with coming in the side door 15 minutes late and just staring into space at his desk for an hour. "In a given week, I probably only do about 15 minutes of real, actual work," he says. "...The thing is, Bob, it's not that I'm lazy. It's just that I don't care."

Ummm...actually, in reality, this is how a lot of people feel about work. That's why this movie and shows like The Office are so great. They speak to the masses.

That is one of my absolute favorite scenes from that movie! "My only real motivation is not to be hassled; that, and the fear of losing my job. But you know, Bob, that will only make someone work just hard enough not to get fired." So. True.
