One thing I know that women like is reality TV. Yeah, most of the time its trashy, a lot of the time its cheesy - but I believe all women have a reality television show they love.
A woman's age is probably one determining factor in which show is your favorite. I think older women tend to watch the cleaner, more cheesy shows. Theyre more settled down and would prefer to actually watch people with some talent! I don't blame them. Rather than hearing every other word bleeped out, they prefer to actually get into the competition. Examples:
- Dancing With The Stars
- American Idol
- So You Think You Can Dance
- Survivor
- Amazing Race
Younger girls are probably into the crazier ones. Exposing all teens and tweens! Watching mostly VH1 and MTV they can't help but to catch an episode and, in turn, become addicted to the wild and crazy dating shows. And you know, these channels no longer play music videos. It's ALL about the dramatic reality tv. The more bleeps and black bars, the better. They can't help it - it's all the crazy hormones! Ask your young teenage girls who's watching these shows:
- That's Amore!
- Flavor of Love
- Rock of Love
- Tila Tequila
- America's Best Dance Crew
- Real World/Road Rules Combos
Then you have you ladies that are in between these ages. They like a little crazy but not so ridiculous as the bisexual dating show Tila Tequila....(though i have caught an episode or two). These ladies are more into fashiony shows and the popluarity contests. And they always love and pull for the gays! When you hit your mid 20's - early 30's and your a female you probably think at least one of these shows are fierce:
- America's Next Top Model
- Big Brother
- Project Runway
- The Bachelor
- The Hills
I know there are always exceptions! Like I mentioned above, I've caught a couple of episodes of all of the shows. But I think women like reality TV and certain shows depending on their age. What do you think?
